Pre Puppy: You know how it goes, you see a cute puppy and how can you not bring it home? We can help you make smart choices about the next puppy or adult dog you bring into your home, because we can be objective and know our way around the breeding and rescue markets. Participation in this program will entitle the family to a discount on other packages if purchased within 3 months of bringing the new puppy or adult dog home.
Puppy: Getting your puppy started off right can make a big difference in how easily he fits into your life and how well adjusted he is as an adult. Housetraining, socialization, learning to walk nicely on leash, and learning how to greet humans are all important, and can be done either with us, or by us. We can meet with you one on one to review what you need to do, step by step, and we can also come to your home while you're busy, and take care of making sure the new puppy learns the important stuff while you're working or otherwise occupied.
New Dog: You've brought a new dog home, and now he needs to fit in. He's not a puppy, but there are things he doesn't know about living with you, and we need to figure out what that is, and make a plan. This will be highly variable based on the needs of the family and the dog. We can meet with you one on one and guide you, with you doing most of the work, or we can step in and help provide the training to speed up the process.
Behavior Consulting: Your dog has "issues", as we say in the biz. Maybe he resource guards, or has some separation anxiety, maybe he gets out of control in certain situations, or runs away, or has aggression to people or other animals. Maybe there's some conflict with other pets in the home. Or maybe he just needs some manners. Whatever it is, we can help you figure out a plan to deal with it. We can meet with you one on one and guide you, with you doing most of the work, or we can step in and help provide the training to speed up the process.
Dog Sports Readiness: Puppies and young dogs that will be participating in dog sports need to develop additional skills and teamwork to enjoy and succeed in those sports. We can coach you on what you and your partner need to work on while getting ready to participate in those activities. This will be one on one coaching, with you and your dog working together as a team. Discount for puppies or dogs that have participated in the Puppy or New Dog programs
Group Outings: From time to time, I offer group hikes or walks, by invitation only to such clients as may benefit and not be disruptive to other participants. These may be for exercise only, or we may work on specific skills. This is a freebie!
